This is my entry for GMTK Game Jam 2020. The game will not be updated after the jam to preserve the state it was in when submitting.

The plan was to join as a team, but unfortunately, my dog died doing the jam, and members of the team were not able to participate anyway. So halfway through the jam, I decided to join alone and make a game in memory of Sonni.

Description
You play as a dog that is out of control when left alone at home. You have a list of tasks you need to complete before your human comes home. Get ready to eat all the chicken, flush the tv-remote, and more! You have to complete the tasks sequentially.

rip sonni

I played this game after the dongle one for GMTK 2021. Very funny game and so sad about your dod, sorry about that.

You are a great game designer, Im following you already.

Keep up the good work !!!

I am glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for the nice comment. It is very motivating. Yes, it is sad that my dog could not be here longer, but it is nice to know that he can still bring some joy to others through the game.

spam space to fly and hold w and a to chase tail

The controls are a bit fiddley but all in all its a beautiful game.

I can definitely see my dog doing some of these things (especially the chicken one). My dog is 10 and I dread the day she'll have to go so this felt particularly close to home but 15 is an amazing age for a dog and I'm sure you have lots of gorgeous memories of Sonni :)

i think in this game i am very controlled. i can only do very certain things. there is a game like this called the untitled goose game. that one follows the same concept only you are much more free and the controlls are better. sorry.

You must have cheated and done this in a year.
48 hours? Pftt, Please, the models alone would take well over a month,.

But seriously amazing job, easily the best one of all. HOW AREN’T YOU FAMOUS, IF YOU DON’T WIN I WILL HAVE A TANTRUM FOR  A WEEK

RIP Sonni

Thanks for playing and your comment. I may have to disappoint you a little. The assets were not made in 48 hours. In this game jam, you were allowed to use premade graphics. If you want you can find a list of the assets under Assets Credits on the game page.

Still amazing.

sorry about your dog );

Thanks for you kind words.

great game by the way

Awesome

Thanks for playing :)

A truly adorable game. The music, the style, the concept, it all ties together to make an adorable game that breaks your heart when you read the motive behind making it. R.I.P. Sonni
